Pastor Will Chen, EFC Orange County

Will Chen is the English Pastor at EFC Orange County. He is a follower of Christ who is passionate about loving God and loving people. A graduate of Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary (M.A.) and Rockbridge Theological Seminary (M.Div), Will has 18 years of ministry experience working with children, youth, young adults, and adults.

A web developer by trade, Will spent many years providing web solutions for various Christian organizations and churches. He served on staff at Saddleback Church and Stream of Praise Music Ministries. Despite his love for technology, Will entered into full time ministry in 2009 and began serving at EFC Orange County.

When he is not sharing the Word of God, Will enjoys playing basketball, listening to music, eating, traveling, and catching stuffed animals from claw machines. Will is married to Sydney, and they are blessed with their son Aaron. They currently reside in Brea, California.


Pastor Joe Chou, EFC San Fernando Valley

Joe was born and raised in Southern California where he started attending EFC LA in the early 1980s. After graduating from college with a history degree, Joe felt the call to full-time ministry. He graduated from Talbot School of Theology and began his full-time ministry at EFC SFV. While serving there as the English Pastor, Joe got married to Christine.

Joe returned back to EFC LA to serve as their Children's Pastor, but then returned to EFC SFV as the English pastor. Joe and Christine have three children, and in his free time he enjoys walking with his family and playing video games occasionally.


Pastor Joe Lin, EFC East Valley

Joe Lin is the English pastor at EFC East Valley. He grew up attending EFC Alhambra, and his favorite memories include going to winter retreats. He graduated from UC Berkeley in 2005 and Talbot in 2011 with a Master of Divinity, emphasis in Missions & Intercultural Studies.

His favorite passage of the Bible is the parable of the Good Samaritan, and he is constantly trying to live out what it means to “love your neighbor.”

Joe enjoys mountain biking, watching independent films, and taking trips to modern art museums. He is married to Stephanie, and they have one child.


Pastor KC Liu, EFC Irvine

KC Liu is the English Pastor at EFC Irvine. He was born in Taiwan and then immigrated to Orange County at the age of eight. He graduated from UC Irvine in 2002 with a BA in Studio Art and subsequently worked as a graphic designer. Then the Lord called him into missions work from 2005-2015.

He started Fuller Seminary in 2007 as a single man, and he graduated in 2014 as a husband and a father of three kids. Being a husband and a father is much harder than being a seminarian! His favorite quote is “A Happy Wife is a Happy Life,” and his life verse is Matthew 6:33, “Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and the rest shall be added on to you.”

His passions include traveling to the nations to experience different cultures, mobilizing the body of Christ for missions, and taking teams out to the mission field to encounter God. KC enjoys playing tennis and ping-pong, going to the theater, and watching “The Voice of China” with the wifey. He is married for life to Amy Wang, and he gives constant piggy back rides to Micah, Karis and Kaden.


Pastor Dwayne Nordstrom, Grace Bible Church

Dwayne Nordstrom is the English pastor at Grace Bible Church, our first church with an English-only congregation. Prior to coming to GBC, Dwayne enjoyed the opportunities of serving in various other multicultural churches and ministries including World Relief's refuge settlement program. He currently also serves as chaplain at a retirement community in Los Angeles.

Dwayne is married to KimHong, and they have two children, Daniel and Deborah. He enjoys eating cereal and an occasional game of basketball.


Pastor Tommy Wang, The Garden

Tommy is the Pastor at The Garden (the English Ministry of EFC Cerritos).  He has been with the church since he was six-years old and after graduating from UCLA in 2005, he began serving in the youth ministry—the season in which God's call became more apparent. Upon finishing Talbot seminary in 2010, Tommy transitioned into full-time pastoral ministry with his home church. 

Tommy is married to Christine and they adore their rescued and adopted dog, Zoe. He enjoys telling all kinds of people about Jesus, playing basketball (reality and fantasy) and watching all types of movies (and re-watching all 8 seasons of "24").

The most influential Scriptures in his life are Romans 3:21-26 and 1 Corinthians 15:58.
