EFC Basketball Day
We are hosting EFC Basketball Day to come together, fellowship, and exercise! The structure will be very similar to EFC Football Day. Bring your own lunch, and then let the games begin!

WHEN: Saturday, June 20th (TENTATIVE). If there are any major conflicts with these dates please let us know.
Arrival: 10:00 am (recommended for warm ups, practice, getting used to the courts, etc.)
Lunch: 11:30 am (bring your own)
Games: 1:00 pm
WHERE: Pantera Park (738 Pantera Dr, Diamond Bar, CA) [map]
WHO: Anyone from the EFC churches. This event is CO-ED so everyone is welcome!
LUNCH: Bring your own. :)
TEAMS:
• DEADLINE for team submission is Friday, June 12 (Need church name, Division #)
• Five-person team, max of 2 substitutes
• Please wear similar colored clothing to reduce confusion
• Each person can only play in one division
• Minimum 3 games per team, hopefully. Please be punctual on starting and ending.
• Please bring your own basketballs! Game balls will be selected at game time.
• Please do not bring in ringers (people who excel in the sport but do not go to your church)
• Profanity, unnecessary roughness, or other unsportsmanlike conduct may be grounds for ejection
Division 1 Guidelines (Competitive)
• 5 on 5 full-court games, with subs
• 2 quarters of 15 minutes each (running clock)
• Call your own fouls, 5 fouls to foul out
• Regular shots are 1 point each. 3-point shots are 2 points
Division 2 Guidelines (Social)
• 4 on 4 half-court games
• up to 21
HELP:
• We need volunteers to help out as GM's for each game. They will be keeping time, keeping score, and disputing calls. To avoid any sort of bias, the GM's will be from different church's than the teams that are playing that game.
• We are still looking for a volunteers to help out with logistics. Please contact us if you would like to help out!
